Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer with 2+ years of Experience. (Saudi Nationals Preferred). Key Responsibilities: Testing of Electrical Systems: Conduct tests on electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure operational functionality and safety. Use specialized testing instruments and tools to diagnose and resolve electrical issues. Commissioning of Electrical Installations: Oversee the installation of electrical systems and equipment. Perform initial setup, ensuring all components are installed as per the design specifications. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports documenting all testing procedures, observations, final test results, and system performance. Communicate findings and provide detailed feedback to project managers and stakeholders. Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure that all electrical installations meet quality standards and comply with local codes and regulations. Verify that electrical components and systems are reliable and up to the manufacturer’s standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and practices to avoid hazards related to electricity. Implement safety protocols during testing and commissioning processes. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Quickly identify faults and issues in electrical systems and develop effective solutions. Work closely with electrical designers and engineers to rectify design issues and improve system performance. Team Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project management teams. Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on testing procedures and commissioning processes.
What we will need
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate must be Saudi National.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Two years of relevant experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, electrical systems, and component maintenance.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in electrical safety and other industry standards is a plus.
